My Story

They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I was certainly a textbook case. I studied biology in college, and after college, I read everything I could about nutrition, exercise, meditation, and related topics. I certainly knew what to do. But was I doing it? Nope. At least not until I had 2 major health crises within 2 years, the second one being breast cancer – a diagnosis that came completely out of left field. What did I do then? More research (of course) and then finally implementing those things I knew I should be doing: more regular exercise,
more ME time and meditation to reduce stress, and kicking the crappy food to the curb.

I became a Certified Health Coach with the Sears Wellness Institute and learned even more about what I could/should be doing, and how to help others with their wellness issues.

I am now off all regular prescription medication and I feel better today than I did 20 years ago. Wouldn’t you like to feel better, too?
